EYFS CURRICULUM
Your child’s progress matters to us. Children develop quickly in early years, and our practitioners help your child have the best possible start in life.
The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is a framework created under the ChildCare Act of 2006 concerned with the learning, development and welfare of all children from birth to the age of five.
Our aim at Yaqadoodle is to apply the framework with every child, ensuring that they stay safe and enjoy their learning and development journey with us.

funding & FEES
Yaqadoodle Childcare Academy is available for children aged 0-8 years old.
- Childcare from £8.90 per hour
- Minimum contract 2 days
- Sessions from 9am-3pm for £53.75
- Childcare per day £68.89 – 7.30am till 18.00
- Ad-hoc days (subject to availability) £68.89 per day
- AM/PM prices £49.70 per session – half days are available for babies (subject to availability)
- Early start before 7:30am – Please Enquire
- Late collections charge between 6pm and 6:30pm – £15 per 15 minutes
Our hours can be flexible, and we ensure to deliver 100% client satisfaction by tailoring our services according to what is required by the parent.

Government-Funded childcare provides financial support to help with nursery fees—giving your child the very best start in life.
From September 2025, eligible working parents of children aged nine months up to school age can access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week, for 38 weeks each year.
These funded hours are designed to make childcare more affordable for families and to ensure every child benefits from high-quality early education in a safe and nurturing environment.

Information For Parents and Carers
Government-Funded Childcare
Yaqadoodle Childcare offers funded childcare in accordance with the Department for Education and Local Authority guidance. You can read our funding policy here.
Government funded childcare is offered at Yaqadoodle Childcare Academy, this explains how funded hours are allocated, and the responsibilities of both the nursery and parents. We aim to provide clear, transparent information so families understand how funding operates.
Yaqadoodle Childcare Academy do the following:
- Claim funding correctly and transparently.
- Keep parents informed of any changes to funding arrangements.
- Explain any optional charges before they are incurred.
- Support families with funding applications where possible.
- Equal Opportunities
Funded places are available without discrimination. The nursery is committed to promoting equality, inclusion and accessibility for all children and families.
Eligible children may receive:
Working Parent Entitlement from 9 months (where eligibility criteria are met).
15 hours funded childcare for eligible two-year-olds receiving additional support.
Universal 15 hours for all 3 and 4-year-olds.
Up to 30 hours for eligible working families with children aged 9 months to school age, subject to eligibility.
Funding is available for 38 weeks per year. Yaqadoodle Childcare may offer a stretched entitlement across more weeks of the year by reducing the number of funded hours available each week.
Eligibility
Parents are responsible for:
- Checking their eligibility through the Government Childcare Service.
- Providing a valid eligibility code where required.
- Renewing eligibility every three months by the Government deadline.
- Informing the nursery immediately if circumstances change.
If eligibility is not reconfirmed, funding may cease following any applicable grace period determined by Government guidance.
Registration and Funding Forms
Before funding can begin, parents must:
- Complete all nursery registration paperwork.
- Sign a Parent Declaration Form each funding period.
- Confirm where funded hours are being claimed if using more than one childcare provider.
- Provide accurate personal information.
- The nursery cannot claim funding until all required documentation has been received.
Attendance
Regular attendance supports children’s learning and development.
Parents should:
Persistent unexplained absences may be discussed with parents in line with Local Authority guidance.
How Funded Hours Are Used
Funded hours cover the delivery of early education and childcare only.
Funding does not automatically include:
Meals or snacks, Nappies, Optional outings, Wipes, Sun cream, Formula milk, Extra-curricular activities, Specialist tuition, Special events
Where Yaqadoodle Childcare offers these additional services, parents will receive clear information about any associated charges before their child starts. These charges are voluntary and are not a condition of accessing funded childcare. Parents may choose to provide their own meals, consumables, or decline optional activities where this is reasonably practicable.
Additional Hours
Any childcare attended outside a child’s funded entitlement will be charged at the nursery’s current hourly rate.
These fees remain payable regardless of funding entitlement.
Changes to Eligibility
Parent Responsibilities
Parents must notify the nursery immediately if:
Employment circumstances change.
Household circumstances change.
Eligibility codes expire.
Contact details change.
If funding ends, parents become responsible for any childcare fees from the date funding is no longer available, subject to any Government grace period.
Parents agree to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Renew eligibility codes on time.
- Sign funding declarations when requested.
Pay invoices for non-funded childcare and agreed additional services by the due date.
Notify the nursery of any changes affecting funding.
Nursery Responsibilities
Confidentiality & Complaints
All personal information provided for funding purposes will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will only be shared where required for funding administration.
If parents have any concerns regarding funded childcare or nursery charges, they should speak to the Nursery Registered Manager in the first instance.
If concerns cannot be resolved, parents may follow the nursery’s Complaints Policy or contact the Local Authority Early Years Funding Team.

At Yaqadoodle Childcare, we believe in the importance of a healthy eating programme.
Our meals are freshly prepared daily on-site by our little chef, making sure we use the highest quality ingredients.
The children are provided three meals a day, and we cater to all dietary needs and requirements.
