Our dedicated team have one thing in common, and that is their passion for childcare. From experienced Nursery Practitioners to qualified teachers & Apprentices. Our staff are qualified in EYFS, Safeguarding, First Aid, and hold qualifications in childcare up to level 5.
Asiya
Founder and Director
Asiya has a Level 5 childcare qualification. Her drive and passion for Childcare stems from her wealth and experience gained from the Health and Social Care sector. She worked in Independent living, leading a number of openings for assisted living across the UK, as well as managing a team of consultants recruiting for registered managers and care practitioners.
In 2015 this drive and passion led to her qualifying as a Nursery practitioner and opening Yaqadoodle Childcare supported by her partner Mo, working from their home which was converted into a fully functional nursery. They provided a great service caring for children from early years, promoting values such as Unity, Support, and Growth.
By Summer 2019 through word of mouth the client list had grown substantially, and there was a need for commercial premises. In September 2019 Yaqadoodle Childcare Academy was formed and the first branch opened on Bennett Street, adopting the same principle “To provide high-quality affordable childcare, which meets the individual requirements of every child”
MO
Head of Operations/Pre-school Practitioner
Mo helped set up Yaqadoodle Childcare with his partner, Asiya. He gets stuck in with the day to day operational side of the business and oversees the daily running of the Nursery.
Emma
Registered Manager – Safeguarding Lead & SENCO
Emma is the latest addition to the Yaqadoodle. She is a Level 3 Practitioner who has over 15 years experience in childcare, with 8 years in management. Emma has a wealth of experience and loves getting involved with the children. She has great leadership skills and thrives on enhancing the children’s knowledge. She is a great asset to YCA – welcome to the team.
Zara
Business Support Manager and Nursery Assistant
Zara brings a wealth of experience to the business having completed an LLB and Masters in Business and Corporate Law. She predominantly works with the key stakeholders in terms of processes and procedures but also helps out in the Nursery as an assistant.
Lysa
Deputy Manager & Baby (Caterpillar) Room Manager
Lysa is a Level 3 Practitioner & Qualified Teaching Assistant. She is one of our newest members of the team and has worked with children since leaving school. She is extremely passionate about childcare and loves the idea that she has the opportunity to shape young minds, getting them ready and set on their path for school.

Pre-School (Butterfly) Room Level 3 Practitioner
Claire is a Level 3 Practitioner and brings an abundance of experience to YCA. She has over 15 years experience and is truly passionate about childcare.
Jayanthi
Nursery Apprentice
Jayanthi has recently joined our team with many years of experience working with all age groups including teaching from reception to high school.
Kiera
Pre-School Leader (Butterfly)
Kiera is an enthusiastic member of the YCA team. She takes great pride in her work and predominantly works in our Pre-school area.
Ali
IT & Marketing Assistant
Ali supports our IT infrastructure and networks well to promote the business. He is a great lead for YCA and works hard to get Yaqadoodle on the map.
